Organize, Balance, and Create Your Life

Life goes on and many do not know what to do after losing their job and having children to support. Who said life was easy? It is if you are following your path, in the flow and balanced. You may think how can I do that when I am so busy with everything that is going on? Get yourself organized by making a list of what needs to be done and then according to priority or due dates. Each day, work on one of the items and be sure to make time for yourself. If you like to draw, paint, sew or whatever else, then begin planning for what you already wanted to create but never had time to do so.

Do you meditate or pray before you get out of bed in the morning or before you go to sleep at night? If not, why not? It only takes a short period of time. Meditation is a good way to start your day, helping you center yourself and prepare you for your day. When I worked and took care of my husband, I got up at four o’clock to meditate before spending time with my husband and then commuting to work. At night, I also meditated before going to bed. I felt I had more energy to make it through the day, even with only four or five hours of sleep. Use it to your advantage. When you pray, ask God for assistance or whatever you need.

Once you get yourself organized, you will feel more in control of your life. Be sure to take time for yourself. It may not be much time, but you could take a bubble bath or do something else that makes you feel good. You might just give yourself five minutes of time out where you put everything down and sit outside in nature to enjoy the world around you. Sitting with your feet in the grass or laying in the grass for a few minutes will help ground you. If you feel there is a lot of unsupportive energy around you, then hug a tree for five to ten minutes. It will pull that energy out of you and ground it in the earth, being transformed and reused for something better than. If you like to sit outside, you could take a book with you and sit against a tree to read a chapter.

Balance is important. If you are out of balance, it is difficult to function. Besides putting your feet in grass or hugging a tree, you could also talk to someone for a few minutes. If you have a massage or body work and feel out of balance or not fully in the body, look someone else in the eyes and talk to them for a few minutes. If there is no one to talk to, then before you drive home, sit and look into your eyes in the rear view mirror. You can talk to yourself that way also. You are bringing yourself back into your body.

If you have trouble with your back, you might want to try this trick. It might be your hips are not aligned. If you toss and turn at night, this might help you in the morning. Stand with your feet shoulder length apart with soft knees. Put your hands on your hips facing down and hands spread open. Place your hands facing down with your thumbs and index fingers on top of your hip bones. You may or may not be able to feel if the hips are aligned or not. Ask your hips to please align either mentally or out loud. You may or may not be able to feel the movement. This does not work for everyone; however, it has worked for me and those I have shown it to.

Now you have an idea of how to bring yourself back into balance and to organize yourself for a life that flows.

Wishing you love in all that you do,

Mary
